Get to know our founder: Jennica Lynn!
Who is Jennica?
Hi, I’m Jennica Lynn! I’m a Seattle Realtor, serving the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I’m passionate about community, homeownership for women, and life in Seattle. I’ve been a real estate agent since 2010, and I truly couldn’t imagine doing anything else! The combination of helping people build generational wealth, find their forever homes, and serving friends and family makes this more than a job for me. I’ve helped women buy their first homes independently, families upgrade to their next home, and people who never thought they could afford a home turn their dreams into reality.
Outside of real estate, I am a newlywed (yay!) and am the human to the cutest floofy dog, Charli! I love being outdoors, taking spin classes (shoutout to Be Here Now), attending community events in my sustainable Armoire wardrobe (if you haven’t checked them out yet, it’s a staple), and educating women about homeownership.
Why I started Women Homeowners:
After my divorce, when I bought a home on my own and went through the remodel process, I realized just how much of the industry is built around talking at women instead of truly educating them. That experience stuck with me. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of helping hundreds of people buy homes, but I’ve noticed that for many women, homeownership can still feel overwhelming or unattainable. Outdated societal norms have long suggested that women only buy homes with a romantic partner or family support. That’s simply not true. I felt deeply called to change that narrative and empower women by demystifying the homebuying process—so they can feel confident, informed, and in control every step of the way. Whether you are single, partnered, or have a family, you can buy a home.
I truly believe that all women, regardless of their race, social position, sexuality, or disability status, should have the opportunity to build generational wealth through real estate.
My Values & Beliefs
Housing is Political: With redlining, historical displacement, wealth gaps, and systemic inequities -- real estate has never been neutral. I also believe that owning a home as a woman is an act of political resistance against the status quo.
Real Estate is for everyone: Real estate is not only for those who’ve grown up with privilege or access to wealth. With the right planning and preparation, real estate can be accessible for everyone.
Housing is a human right: For years, there have been heated debates about who deserves housing and who should be unhoused. I believe that every human deserves to have a roof over their head, regardless of their background.
How I practice my values:
Speaking up within the industry - challenging norms and advocating for more inclusive practices in real estate
Supporting political candidates who prioritize housing as a human right
Sharing real estate knowledge that educates all people to navigate ownership, investing, and long-term financial planning with confidence
Continuously learning about programs that help marginalized communities & immigrants access homeownership
Empowering women homeownership and financial security
Connecting clients to trusted lenders and professionals who understand their goals
Creating a space for LGBTQIA+ clients where their safety & belonging are prioritized
Actively referring and supporting racially & ethnically diverse, LGBTQIA+, and women-owned businesses
Helping our military community navigate VA loans and our high-cost market with strategy and clarity
Supporting clients long after closing with resources, referrals, and help building long-term wealth
I share these values because I don’t believe business and personal values should be separate, and it should be clear where I stand and the community that I am working to support. As a member of this community, you deserve to understand my values and choose if you align with them. So, I'll be here, sharing my passion for real estate while continuing to spread the belief that housing is a human right and sharing my love for the people and places that have shaped me. Because real estate is more than a transaction, it's a tool for change, connection, and building a future that includes everyone.
Thank you for being here and I look forward to sharing more tips and tools for women homeowners!
